Hello hello! It has been a long time! We have definitely grown in popularity - sure makes us feel warm in time for the holidays! Thank you for the recognition.. It really means so much to us!I hope you know.. yes, YOU.. how much you mean to us. We work - on your clothes - with our own hands. So we know how much these garments mean to you!

Greetings, hope you are doing well! Its already June 26th. July 4th weekend is coming up, and we do have specific hours of operation. Feel free to stop by with your clothes to see our funny signs we made about that!
During this time, we do get asked to do rushed/special requests leaving little time to make everyone happy. If you are able to make time, do not wait till the last minute for us to inspect your clothes, take measurements, or do specialized alterations. The alterations Suzy does is art, and there is a reason why she is the best in the area for miles and miles. While we want to accommodate everyone, everyone's particular alterations needs attention, so please allow for that.

We are much to busy to monitor yelp and other such reviews. We never really paid attention to them to be honest with you. I guess that's why we have pleasant reviews, because we are concentrating on being experts on your garments than anything else! That makes sense.

April Is Here! Let's celebrate with cold weather!
We love the Chicago weather! You never know what you are going to get!
...Hey, you can't change it, so no sense in stressing over it, right?
I think its finally time the weather here will ease up. Its mid April and I don't think mother nature can get away with being so cold all the time.
Keep a few spring jackets out, but lets get those fluffy sweaters and parkas cleaned up for the winter season which is sure to sneak up on us. We specialize in these kinds of clothes. You can also bring in the clothes for summer to be altered... Suzy is kind of famous for this sort of thing. :)
While I have your attention, I'd like to share a little on my views on business practices. If you own a business - while no one is perfect, its important to know, you should still do your best. It boggles my mind when I walk into other businesses, and I feel invisible. Its appalling when I do business with someone, and I'm treated terribly, like I don't matter. Its crazy to me when I see employees who would rather be doing anything else than doing the job they were lucky enough to be hired to do.
It is our pledge, it has been our mission, to treat you with respect. To treat you the way we want to be treated: fairly. I think by looking at our reviews, its plain to see we go above and beyond. We give you service - top notch.
We aren't perfect, however, but that just gives us something to strive for! We will always do our best for you. You matter to us - and we are thankful for each and every one of our great customers.

Just as a reminder during this 'lovey dovey' season, we are very much accommodating needs that no one else in the area can possibly touch - unsurpassed quality and attention when it comes to wedding dress preservation, as well as custom alterations. Highland Square Cleaners doesn't run on its own. Surprising, right?
While we do our best to make sure that your favorite cleaners works as a well oiled machine, behind the scenes, its just us working our tails off to make it seem that way. You keep coming back because we deliver what we say we'll deliver. We appreciate you, and that's where the human touch comes in.
To make sure we keep moving smoothly especially during this holiday season, we have the help of experts steaming, folding, and even with alterations. In the picture above, is Sara (on the right) and she has been a part of the team for a few months now. Sara and Suzy make quite the team, so if you have work that needs to be done, that needs a creative touch, now is the time!

Oh yes, keep your house well illuminated inside AND out! Thieves aren't necessarily targeting you, but looking for the easiest score. Unfortunately, you being cautious won't stop the thief entirely, they just won't bother YOU. That is the only thing we can do.
In the meantime - we are being very busy and productive making sure your garments, table cloths, wedding dresses are cleaned, pressed and preserved. Beat the holiday rush- bring them in today!

Just one look at her hands, and you'll know. She's been burned by irons, pierced by needles, and scalded by steam. Suzy starts on your clothes early, and stays late stitching away until she has double vision.
While we have added expert team members who have helped with the overwhelming demand here at Highland Square Cleaners, they are always under Suzy's watchful eye. All articles of clothing must pass her inspection - no exceptions.
Its no wonder all customers who find us through 5 star reviews on Google, Yelp, Yahoo, Foursquare, etc. only look for Suzy. It's like a broken record!

Just so you know we are being bombarded by customers dropping off all their winter clothes so they can be cleaned the right way and stored for the summer. Don't worry, we are making time for you and your clothes. We are standing by and are looking forward to seeing you in the weeks to come.
